Alex Wylie - Oregon Super Lawyer

Alexander S. Wylie

Trial Attorney

Biography

Alex is a highly experienced and respected advocate. For 20 years, Alex has represented people and their businesses in and out of the courtroom. His first focus is to help clients understand the relevant law and legal process, and then work with clients to drill down and fully investigate the case circumstances, with the ultimate goal to present cases in the most compelling manner possible.

Alex approaches all cases as if they will be tried in court, although in many situations cases resolve through arbitration or settlement. Over the course of his career thus far, Alex has tried several cases to jury verdict or arbitration award, including two multimillion dollar jury trials.

No matter how a case ultimately resolves, clients trust Alex to provide regular communication, accurate evaluations, and cost-effective handling. But perhaps most importantly, Alex’s clients know that they have a zealous yet professional advocate to guide them through the process.

Outside of Law

For Alex, service to others is a priority. He has volunteered as an Oregon State Bar mentor to new lawyers, as a Military Assistance Panel member, and on several committees, including the Oregon State Bar Legal Ethics Committee. Alex has served on the Leadership Board of the American Lung Association — Oregon, and he served as the national General Counsel for his college fraternity, Phi Gamma Delta (FIJI).

When Alex is not representing clients or volunteering, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two boys, while supporting the boys’ youth sports and other activities.

Joining Dwyer Williams Cherkoss Attorneys allows me to help the outstanding DWC team build on the success the firm has already enjoyed, with a new focus on helping clients in the Portland Metro and Southwest Washington area. I’m excited to be the newest champion for DWC’s clients and causes.
