Profile for Roy Dwyer
Roy Dwyer is the senior partner in the firm, and has been practicing law since 1962. Roy is particularly aggressive, and doesn’t take guff from insurance companies or adjusters. He has tried hundreds of cases to jury verdict, and has handled many appellate cases as well. Roy has represented clients in a wide range of cases since 1962, including car collisions, whiplash compensation, catastrophic injuries, wrongful death, surgical cases, and also including legal and medical malpractice cases. Roy has been extremely successful, obtaining tens of millions of dollars on behalf of his clients over the years. He settles most of his cases without the need for trial, but if he cannot get a reasonable settlement, is quick to file the case with the court and proceed with litigation.

Roy Dwyer was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He served in the United States Air Force from 1949-1953. Roy then attended the University of Alaska, and later transferred to the University of Oregon where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science in 1959. He next attended the University of Oregon School of Law and received his law degree in 1962.
After graduating law school, Roy immediately opened up his own practice in Eugene, Oregon. Roy has practiced law in Oregon since 1962, focusing his statewide practice in the field of personal injury litigation. Roy has a son and a son-in-law who are both personal injury attorneys as well.
Roy lives with his wife in Bend, Oregon. He enjoys hiking the Cascade Mountains and playing with his two dogs. Some of Roy’s more notable hikes include the Grand Canyon, the High Sierras, a trek through Nepal, and hiking the Great Wall in China. In addition to hiking, Roy enjoys travelling the world. He has visited Laos, Malaysia, China, Vietnam, the Middle East, as well as many other places. In 2002 and again in 2003, he traveled to Vietnam and rode his bicycle from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City, a distance of 1,000 miles each trip. He plans to continue travelling the world, and always has an exciting trip planned. Most of all, Roy enjoys spending time with his family, including his four children and seven grandchildren.
